Red Talon Lore 1: What a Cub or Cliath would know

  • Knows that the other Garou are part human, and are thus farther from Gaia’s ways than the Red Talons.
  • Knows that the humans serve the Weaver, and have been corrupted by the Wyrm.
  • Knows the ways of the wolf, and that the ways of the Red Talons are an outgrowth of them.
  • Is aware that Griffin is the Tribal Totem spirit.
  • Knows how endangered the Red Talon Kinfolk are, and that they are precious to the Tribe.
  • Knows about the homid and glabro forms, and has learned how to shift into them.
  • Knows who the local alpha male and alpha female Red Talons are, if any.

Red Talon Lore 2: What a Fostern would know

  • Knows that Red Talon metis have been born, albeit very, very rarely.
  • Knows that the humans have driven other species into premature extinction.
  • Has heard of the Tribal Homeland. May know how to get there, at Storyteller discretion.
  • Knows of the existence of Camps within the Tribe, and has general knowledge of the ideology of his or her own Camp, if applicable.
  • Has heard of the Impergium. Knows that the other Tribes halted it against the wishes of the Red Talons.
  • Has heard of the Litany. May know something about it. Is aware that the other Tribes use it to govern themselves.
  • Knows that the Tribe participated in the War of Rage alongside the other Garou.
  • Is familiar with the wildest, most pristine areas of his or her local territory, at Storyteller discretion.
  • Knows who the strongest alpha male and alpha female Red Talons are in his or her home geographic region.

Red Talon Lore 3: What an Adren would know

  • Knows that Red Talon metis sometimes aren’t killed at birth, albeit very, very rarely.
  • Is aware that not all humans have been corrupted by the Wyrm, just the vast majority.
  • Knows something about what Griffin expects from the Red Talons.
  • Knows the general ideology of the other Camps and is well versed in the ideology of his or her specific Camp, if applicable.
  • Is fully versed in the Litany, and knows how highly the other Tribes value it.
  • Knows that the Tribe’s participation in the War of Rage was reluctant.
  • Is familiar with the wildest, most pristine areas of his or her geographic region, at Storyteller discretion.*
  • Knows who the Tribal Alpha Male and Tribal Alpha Female are. May know the identities of other powerful Red Talons within his or her geographic region, and where they stand in the Tribal hierarchy.

Red Talon Lore 4: What an Athro would know

  • Knows that the Tribe is dying.
  • Has some knowledge of a few of the various Tribal Rites in the Tribebook, although not enough to actually throw them.
  • Has heard of a few of the Tribal Gifts in the Tribebook.
  • Is familiar with Griffin’s Brood. Knows something about the Old Wolf of the Woods, and that he is also a Totem of the Tribe.
  • Is intimately familiar with the ideology of his or her own Camp, if applicable, and has a detailed knowledge of the ideologies of the other Camps.
  • Knows that the Tribe assisted some members of the other Changing Breeds during the War of Rage, and that many Gurahl Caerns were taken and held in safekeeping by the Red Talons of that age.
  • Knows who the strongest Red Talons on his or her home continent are, and where they stand in the Tribal hierarchy.

Red Talon Lore 5: What an Elder would know

  • Is aware that the War for Gaia is all but lost.
  • Has some knowledge of all the various Tribal Rites in the Tribebook, although not enough to actually throw them.
  • Has heard of all the Tribal Gifts in the Tribebook.
  • May know the location of a formerly Gurahl-owned Caern, at Storyteller discretion.
  • Is intimately familiar with the ideologies of all of the Tribe’s Camps.
  • Is familiar with the strongest members of the Tribe worldwide. Knows where they stand in the Tribal hierarchy.
  • Among the Red Talons, geographic regions are divided more by natural landmarks and boundaries (i.e. the Black Forest or the Great Smokey Mountains) than by arbitrary lines on a human map. For the purposes of the Camarilla, however, Regional or National boundaries are used.
